Power Management
Topic:
Deployments
Power management functions are available to the owner of the run or any project member with the “Can manage project trusts and resources” permission set.
You can access power buttons for individual hosts in “Available” Deployment Runs. To access the power buttons:
- From the main navigation menu click Runs, then under My Runs or Browse, select your Deployment Run. You are at the Deployment Run page.
- To access the power buttons, click on the card for the host you’d like to manage.
- At the top of the page, there are options to power on, shut down, pause, reboot, power off. See below descriptions of each button.
- Click the “X” button at the top-right to exit the host details, and go back to the Run page. Repeat Steps 2-3 to manage power for another host in your Run!
Power Button Descriptions
ON: Powers on the host.
SHUT DOWN: Powers down host gracefully. Press ON to start up the host.
PAUSE: Stops host from running temporarily. Press ON to resume.
REBOOT: Restarts the host.
POWER OFF: Hard shut down, like pulling the plug. Press ON to start up the host.
Please note that if the power buttons are greyed out, it is likely that the Deployment Run lock is enabled. To enable the power buttons, disable the Deployment Run lock.
