Managing Services

Managing Services for Your Team Members Navigate to Arcus and sign in. Select the Team Manager tile, which will take you directly to the Services page. As part of a Team’s onboarding process, the Arcus admin team will enable the services and set limits accordingly. Once these services have been enabled for a given team, the Team Manager will have the power to: See limits as established by the Arcus admins Add and Remove individual users Sort users by Moderator status, All, Active, Blocked, and Name Invite new users, individually or in bulk Manage and revoke invitations Note: Each invitation has an expiration date.
Managing the Express User Interface

The Express User Interface The Express User Interface (EUI) is a way to access, deploy and undeploy selected deployments in a simplified tiled view without other distracting elements. This Express User Interface is specially designed for users that only need to consume compositions created for them by other developers. Users accessing the Express User Interface will utilize published Runs and Scenarios that have published as Compositions. Create a Project

As a team manager you can add projects for your team, up until the team limit for max number of projects is reached. Some reasons to create a new project: You would like to separate members of your team so they can’t see each others’ runs, hosts, and assets You have a vendor that would like a private project space You want to delegate roles and permissions management between multiple projects You must be a team manager to create projects, otherwise you will not see “projects” on the main menu
Add or Remove Team Managers

As a Arcus Team Manager you can add or remove another teammate as team manager as required. To do this: From the main menu click Settings Under Team Profile look for Team Managers To remove a team manager, click the X button next to the username To add a team manager, start typing and select the username of the person to add Note: If you cannot find the user to add, please ensure they have an Arcus account and that the account is active.
Managing File Transfer

Team Managers can restrict file transfer (upload/download) and clipboard (copy/paste of text) in remote access sessions for each of the projects under their control. These controls allow Team Managers to comply with security policies and protect proprietary files by restricting file transfer and clipboard capabilities. File Transfer Management Permissions Team Managers in Arcus can manage file transfer in a project. Team Managers automatically inherit this permission for all projects under their team.
Managing Project Resources

Project Owners and Team Managers can specify and modify resources within projects. Resource Management Permissions In order to manage resources in your project, you will need to be granted the proper permissions. Project Owner permissions can be granted either by the Team Manager, or another existing project Owner in your project. Team Managers automatically inherit this permission. Resource Management Resources in Arcus have a straightforward hierarchy. All resources purchased for Arcus are allocated to the Team, managed by the Team Manager.
Teams

Teams Each customer order is now mapped to a Team. The total capacity limits (e.g. RAM, CPU, storage, etc.), add-ons, features and expiration date are set per Team as part of the order on-boarding. At least one Team Manager will be assigned at that time. Team Managers can change the team name, add/remove other managers and update the primary POC info. Projects Projects remain the primary grouping of users and resources at the application level.
Managing your Cloudspaces

As the Team Manager, you can manage your team’s Cloudspaces by: Rename cloudspaces Setting cloudspaces to Active or Inactive Viewing connectivity status Assigning projects to Cloudspaces Enable/Disable Remote Access Set a Maximum Virtual Machines Limit Unregistering and/or deallocate your Cloudspaces Rename a Cloudspace Click Cloudspaces on the main menu Click on the cloudspace to rename Click Manage at the top-right Under Basic Info, rename the cloudspace as needed Click Save Cloudspace Active/Inactive States As the Team Manager, you may set your Cloudspace to be Active or Inactive.
Setting up a Trusted Project

As the Project Owner, you can configure a trust between your Project and another Project. This allows users in your Project to share assets with another Project. Click Projects from the main menu Select the Project to administer Click the Manage button in the top-right Click on Trusted Projects Click the + Add button Find the name of the project you would like to share with, and select it Click Done Now you can share assets with the Trusted Project!
Email Project Members

Project managers and site admins can send notification emails to active project members directly from the GUI. Login to Arcus and select a project that you manage. Click on the button next to “Manage” and select the “Email Members” option from the dropdown menu. Enter your message in the pop-up menu and click “Send” when complete.
Roles and Permissions

Overview As a Project Manager, you can edit roles and permissions for members of your Project by following these steps: Select Projects from the main navigation menu on the left-hand side Click on a project that you manage On the project page, click on the Members tab Click on the down arrow at the top-right of a member card and select Edit Membership In the pop-up window, check the boxes of the permissions that you would like to assign to the user, each is described below.
Managing Project Members

Project Managers and Team Managers can add and remove members in their projects. Add Members to your Project There are 2 methods for getting members added to your project, one for adding existing Arcus members, and another for inviting other people to your project. From the main navigation menu, select Projects Click on the project to manage On the project page select the Members tab To add members that already have Arcus accounts: Click the Add People button Browse members, or type to search for members, click members to add to your project, and click Done To invite people to Arcus that do not have Arcus accounts: Type an email address next to the Invite Users button Click the Invite Users to send an invite code The person should receive an email with an invite code to register for Arcus View the Status of Invited/Requested Users From the main navigation menu, select Projects Click on the project to manage On the project page select the Members tab On the left hand side, under ‘Status’ select the Requested button Note: To revoke an invite code, simply click the “X” button on the invite code shown
ITAR Flags

ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) flags can be set on Software and Test (Component) Assets. In order to create an ITAR Designated Asset, the Project that the asset is created under must also be ITAR designated. Arcus does not guarantee the validity of an ITAR designation, nor does it enforce anything outside of these rules. Creating an ITAR Designated Project Note: Once a Project has been ITAR Designated it cannot be unflagged so please use caution.
