Arcus delivers a complete package of cloud, security and DevSecOps orchestration across multiple public & private clouds; with automation and validation across the entire software lifecycle. It provides self-service access to the automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure; applications & data; containers; source code builds; functional & performance tests; security scans; and network defense, all while allowing users to continue to use their favorite tools. The workflow orchestration and access to the shared library of assets drive a whole new level of system design discipline.

Team

Arcus is staffed by an experienced team of devops engineers, system administrators, and security specialists. The Community Team provides users with customer support, training, on-boarding, and professional services to ensure successful engagements. All Arcus administrators are US citizens with active security clearances.

Government Service

Arcus operates as a fee-for-service government resource available to all branches and agencies. Operations are sponsored by a USSF SSC Program Office.

The service is accessible via 1) a direct contract award from your organization, 2) multiple IDIQ contracts, and/or 3) by prime contractors authorized by the program office. This distributed funding approach reduces costs (hardware, licensing, security, administration, etc.) for all. With no central funding, user support and user success are critical drivers.

Arcus users have logged more than ten million hours on over 500,000 systems launched into the cloud. It, and its predecessors, have been used across the DoD for development, test, training, exercise, and/or operational work.

Accreditation

Arcus operates under a Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authorization to Operate (ATO). The control set starts with the National Security Systems baseline and adds the Space Platform, Intelligence, Privacy, NC3, and Classified Information (where applicable) overlays. In all, over 650 controls in place to ensure the security of your data.

The ATO covers all activities in the connected and managed clouds resources, allowing users to get down to business and concentrate on their work. Arcus was designed from the ground-up to support DoD needs for demonstrations, development, integration, testing, training, and operations. When users are ready for their systems to go operational, Arcus can be used to generate a number of the required artifacts; develop RMF responses; and provide on-going management and monitoring.

All user activity is monitored through the web application and security stack in order to maintain compliance with DoD cloud security guidelines; Arcus has been officially (and unofficially) assessed by DoD Red Teams. In addition to user convenience, the remote access capability delivers controlled, secure access while minimizing exposure.
